Athletics Development Officer

Responsibilities

• Support the Advancement and Athletics offices in achieving annual fundraising goals across all giving levels
• Manage athletics donor relations, annual giving, and major gift support
• Coordinate athletic events and manage corporate sponsorships
• Engage with donors and stakeholders to build long-term relationships
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and home athletic events as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Communications, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Demonstrated enthusiasm for collegiate athletics

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior internship or experience in fundraising, development, sales, or athletics administration
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce
• Experience with event planning or volunteer coordination
