Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate athletic training services for assigned teams and student-athletes
• Maintain medical records and athletic training supplies
• Coordinate patient care in collaboration with sports medicine physicians and coaches
• Assist in the supervision and management of the athletic training room facility
• Comply with all laws, policies, and regulations governing the University, NCAA, Atlantic 10 Conference, and Pioneer Football League

Requirements

• Master's Degree
• Valid, current NATA B.O.C. certification in good standing
• Ohio Athletic Trainers license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Valid driver's license with a low-risk driving record
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and travel as needed
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a Division I intercollegiate athletic training program
• Experience documenting medical assessments and evaluations
• Experience working alongside physicians and other medical professionals
• CSCS certification
• Knowledge of NCAA Regulations and HIPAA
• Experience with electronic medical records (e.g., EPIC, SportsWare)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
