Bachelor’s Degree, Valid Texas Athletic Certificate, Knowledge of UIL rules, Athletic training experience, Valid Texas Teacher certificate preferred
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide preventive and follow-up athletic training for student-athletes.
- Supervise medical records, including physicals, insurance, and UIL documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in dressing rooms, showers, and training rooms.
- Attend varsity football games, sub-varsity football, and various home sporting events including volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track.
- Develop and implement training programs utilizing coaches, managers, and student trainers.
- Maintain inventory of training supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all UIL rules and district policies regarding athletics.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to support the educational development of athletes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Valid Texas Athletic Certificate.
- Proven experience in athletic training.
- General knowledge of training techniques and procedures.
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Texas Teacher certificate.
