Athletic Trainer (ATC), Outpatient Clinic

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient orthopedic setting
• Perform patient intake, record vitals, and document medical histories in EMR
• Assist with clinical procedures, including preparing injections and performing staple or suture removal
• Fit and educate patients on durable medical equipment (DME)
• Coordinate insurance authorizations and manage charge tickets
• Maintain clinical areas to ensure high-quality patient care and safety

Requirements

• Current license to practice Athletic Training in the State of Ohio
• BLS certification
• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or a related field from an accredited program
• Proficiency with EMR systems
• Ability to travel between clinic locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Athletic Training or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience as an Athletic Trainer or in a related clinical field
• Certification by the Board of Certification (BOC), Inc.
