About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Athletics Communications Director in media relations, website maintenance, and livestreaming.
- Manage in-game scorekeeping, statistical reporting, and photography/image management.
- Train, mentor, and supervise a student work-study staff of 14-21 students.
- Collaborate with the Digital Media team and social media coordinator to promote the Luther brand.
- Provide event coverage and follow-up reporting for NCAA Division III athletics programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience in athletics marketing and communications at a professional or student level.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Knowledge of in-game statistical programs and NCAA statistical guidelines.
- Ability to work evenings and weekends in accordance with athletic schedules.
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and lift up to 20 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience at athletic events.
- Experience with video streaming and athletic photography.
