Association Engagement Partner

Responsibilities

• Manage overall relationships with assigned associations to maximize membership value and drive revenue growth.
• Develop and execute multi-year association strategies, goals, and plans.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for collaboration on government advocacy and thought leadership.
• Source, evaluate, and close partnership opportunities to build a durable demand generation engine.
• Coordinate internally with Government Affairs, Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to ensure impact and compliance.
• Integrate UL Solutions offerings into association programs, such as endorsed vendor lists and member benefits.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in marketing, business development, or association management.
• Proven experience building and managing relationships with industry associations.
• Strong background in sustainability and ESG programs, including topics like circularity, carbon, and climate reporting.
• Demonstrated success in closing and scaling ecosystem partnerships that generate qualified pipeline.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of global regulatory frameworks, including climate disclosure rules and ESG reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with policy/advocacy calendars, RFPs, and procurement cycles.
• Strong data orientation, including experience with cohort analysis and channel ROI.
• Experience in event strategy, speaking engagements, and sustainability storytelling.
