Associate/Full Professor and Chair, Department of Mathematics

Responsibilities

• Lead the Department of Mathematics at the Prescott Campus
• Oversee faculty and support the delivery of BS degrees in Data Science, Simulation Science, Gaming and Animation
• Support the delivery of mathematics courses for Engineering and Aviation Science majors
• Manage departmental administration and strategic direction

Requirements

• PhD in mathematics or a closely related field
• Experience commensurate with the level of Associate or Full Professor
• Ability to contribute to programs such as Data Science and Simulation Science

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong record of teaching at a STEM university
• Prior administrative experience
• Experience incorporating undergraduate students into research
• Collaborative team player mindset
