Associate/Associate Director - Roads & Highways

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of roads, highways, and infrastructure masterplan projects from concept through to construction support.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, including utilities, drainage, structures, and transportation disciplines.
• Act as a primary point of contact for clients, developers, and government authorities to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Manage project programs, resources, budgets, and commercial targets to ensure successful execution.
• Support business development through technical proposals, bids, and the identification of new project opportunities in the Saudi market.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster a high-performing team culture and technical excellence.
• Ensure all designs comply with local authority standards, client requirements, and international best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience in roads and highways engineering design and project delivery.
• At least 5 years of recent professional experience working within Saudi Arabia.
• Proven track record working with leading international engineering consultancies.
• Extensive experience delivering large-scale roads, highways, and infrastructure projects.
• Deep understanding of Saudi Arabian infrastructure markets, authority processes, and approval frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in the Arabic language.
