About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of roads, highways, and infrastructure masterplan projects from concept through to construction support.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, including utilities, drainage, structures, and transportation disciplines.
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, developers, and government authorities to maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Manage project programs, resources, budgets, and commercial targets to ensure successful execution.
- Support business development through technical proposals, bids, and the identification of new project opportunities in the Saudi market.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster a high-performing team culture and technical excellence.
- Ensure all designs comply with local authority standards, client requirements, and international best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 15+ years of professional experience in roads and highways engineering design and project delivery.
- At least 5 years of recent professional experience working within Saudi Arabia.
- Proven track record working with leading international engineering consultancies.
- Extensive experience delivering large-scale roads, highways, and infrastructure projects.
- Deep understanding of Saudi Arabian infrastructure markets, authority processes, and approval frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in the Arabic language.
