Associate, Workday Integrations Developer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Workday Financials integrations focusing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Banking & Settlement, and General Ledger.
• Build and maintain complex integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST).
• Develop inbound and outbound integrations with banking systems, third-party vendors, and internal finance systems.
• Transform data across various formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and banking formats such as ISO 20022 and NACHA.
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration failures, data transformation issues, and downstream system mismatches.
• Monitor production integrations to ensure high availability and data accuracy.
• Perform impact analysis for Workday releases and implement necessary integration updates.
• Collaborate with Finance stakeholders to gather requirements and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of relevant experience in Workday with a strong focus on Workday Financials integrations.
• Proven hands-on expertise in Workday Studio.
• Demonstrated experience supporting integrations for AP, AR, Banking & Settlement, and General Ledger.
• Proficiency with Core Connectors, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), and Workday Web Services.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, including payment processing, settlement cycles, and journal entries.
• Experience with data transformation tools and formats including XML, XSLT, JSON, and CSV.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting production integrations and managing incident resolution.
• Ability to manage multiple integrations and prioritize tasks in a support-driven environment.
• Strong communication skills with experience working across offshore and onshore teams.
