Associate Vice President, Strategic Initiatives

Responsibilities

• Support the Strategic Initiatives team and the CEO’s Office in managing and delivering on high-priority workstreams
• Prepare high-quality written outputs including briefing notes, presentations, reports, and correspondence
• Support client and stakeholder engagement and manage follow-ups with rigour
• Translate strategic directions into structured workstreams, trackers, and action plans
• Coordinate across internal teams to align inputs and monitor progress on organisation-wide priorities
• Support the scoping and development of new ideas and initiatives from first principles to structured proposals
• Conduct research and analysis to inform the development of new programmes and products
• Support the identification and cultivation of new institutional partnerships and donor relationships
• Develop proposals, pitch decks, and programme frameworks for new business opportunities

Requirements

• 7-10 years of professional experience in top-tier consulting, financial institutions, or development finance
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, International Development, or Public Policy
• Demonstrated ability to develop high-quality written proposals, research reports, and strategy documents
• Strong analytical and structured thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to operate as a self-starter with minimal supervision
• Experience managing projects in complex, multi-stakeholder environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of gender equality, social inclusion, or climate action
• Familiarity with inclusive finance, impact investing, blended finance, or ESG frameworks
• Cross-sectoral exposure in climate, infrastructure, or development finance
• International work experience
