Associate Vice President, Fund Accounting

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple funds with complex structures
• Manage quarterly and annual GAAP reporting, including management fees and waterfall calculations
• Assist in managing fund liquidity, including cash management, capital calls, distributions, and credit facility management
• Coordinate tax-related workflows with internal and external tax teams
• Support investor inquiries and provide data for marketing materials regarding upcoming fund launches
• Ensure compliance reporting for credit facilities and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate operational workflows with investment operations and performance teams
• Supervise work product from external administrators and collaborate with colleagues in the Mumbai office

Requirements

• BS/BA in Accounting, Economics, or Finance
• 6+ years of relevant experience, ideally at the Accounting Manager level or equivalent
• Public accounting (Big 4) or relevant corporate/in-house experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with accounting systems such as Geneva or Investran is highly desirable
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred
