Associate Vice President, AIS Data Operations

Responsibilities

• Validate and cross-check reference, security master, and analytics data from multiple systems including trading platforms and market data feeds
• Define and maintain data governance policies, ownership, stewardship, and quality rules across Ares Insurance Solutions (AIS)
• Design and maintain operational dashboards and KPIs to monitor data quality and business metrics
• Support internal and external reporting by automating and validating management, regulatory, and client reports
• Investigate and resolve daily data breaks and escalate issues as necessary
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Portfolio Compliance, and IT to improve operational efficiency and system processes
• Maintain accurate audit trails and documentation for all data checks and reconciliations

Requirements

• 8-10 years of experience in asset management operations, data management, or insurance and financial services
• Strong understanding of financial instruments such as alternative credit, fixed income, and mortgages
• Proficiency in Excel
• Experience with SQL or financial data tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Clearwater, AllVue, IVP) is a plus
• High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
