Associate Vendor Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day sourcing escalations and vendor coordination to resolve operational issues in real-time.
• Monitor vendor performance against key KPIs including on-time delivery, quality, fill rates, and defect rates.
• Track and report daily business metrics, inventory levels, and fill rates to internal stakeholders.
• Conduct market benchmarking on sourcing strategies and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Drive continuous improvement in catalog quality by identifying and resolving defects such as pricing mismatches or incorrect attributes.
• Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and quality teams to support operational needs and seasonal initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 2-3 years of experience in vendor management, sourcing, supply chain, or operations.
• Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and business reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of vendor management experience or 1+ years of relevant discipline work experience.
• Familiarity with the Produce or Fresh food category.
