Associate - UK Payroll

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end UK payroll processes, including data input, tax code validation via HMRC portal, and statutory payment calculations
• Execute pre-payroll and post-payroll activities such as exception reports, GL simulations, BACS reconciliation, and payslip production
• Process statutory documentation and payments including Maternity, Paternity, Sick, and Adoption pay
• Handle year-end activities including P60, P11Ds, and filing various forms to HMRC
• Ensure accurate and timely salary payments for clients while meeting defined SLA and TAT obligations
• Resolve employee payroll queries via email or telephone in a professional manner
• Maintain high levels of accuracy in data entry, calculations, and report preparation
• Identify and highlight risks, errors, or areas for process improvement to the team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience
• Graduate degree or Diploma holder
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Strong analytical and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with UK-based clients
• Knowledge of UK payroll is preferred but not required
