Associate To, Department of Dermatology

Responsibilities

• Perform high-level administrative functions for a designated university official, including policy advisory and strategy formulation.
• Manage departmental calendars, schedule visiting speakers, and organize departmental events and dinners.
• Coordinate medical student programs, including orientation, scheduling, onboarding at the veterans hospital, and scholarship coordination.
• Assist in budget development, including requests and narratives, and review budgetary support.
• Act as a liaison between unit directors, administrators, and external agencies to ensure policy conformity.
• Prepare memos, speeches, position statements, and responses to inquiries.
• Provide direct supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff as required, including hiring and performance evaluations.
• Coordinate Grand Rounds in collaboration with the Physician Lead and College of Medicine.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Eight (8) years of relevant work experience and/or specialized training (can be used in lieu of a degree).
• Four (4) years of experience in a related field.

• Experience in university administration.
