Responsibilities
- Achieve defined sales quotas for current and prospective customers within a designated territory
- Prospect for new sales opportunities via cold and warm leads to obtain purchase orders
- Conduct customer site visits to demonstrate products and provide technical solutions for manufacturing applications
- Execute activities-based objectives including customer visits and new product introductions
- Maintain accurate competitive data and project details within the CRM system
- Assist at trade shows and marketing events to generate qualified leads
- Identify and refer complex vision application opportunities to specialized Cognex sales teams
Requirements
- Minimum of two years of sales training and field experience in a metric-driven environment
- 4-year college degree from a reputable university
- Ability to travel up to 20% for customer visits and field work
- Proficiency in MS Windows applications
- Valid means of transport to visit multiple customer accounts daily
- Strong technical problem-solving skills and a desire for a career in technical sales
