Associate Territory Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Territory Manager in developing and executing business plans for the assigned territory
• Recruit, develop, and manage new sales managers and sales agents
• Provide ongoing coaching to District Managers to help them attain goals and correct performance shortfalls
• Create marketing approaches to grow the territory and enhance sales opportunities
• Manage direct sales results and foster a culture of prospecting within the territory
• Oversee the Sales Office, including staff management and budget oversight
• Complete the induction and onboarding of new sales managers in accordance with company programs

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in a similar sales management role
• Proven success in personally prospecting for and closing direct voluntary sales
• Ability to recruit and manage independent contractors
• Valid insurance license or the ability to obtain one within 45 days for the assigned territory
• Strong strategic planning and business planning skills
• Willingness to travel extensively based on territory needs
