Associate Technical Writer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain assembly manuals, operating guides, maintenance manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
• Apply structured authoring principles to ensure consistent, modular, and reusable content.
• Create SOPs, technical reports, release notes, and internal process documentation.
• Produce customer-specific documentation packages, including spare-parts lists, datasheets, and installation documentation.
• Ensure all documentation aligns with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate document translation and localization efforts with internal teams and external vendors.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and product management teams to ensure technical accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in technical writing or documentation roles.
• Proven experience working with cross-functional engineering or product development teams.
• Strong understanding of structured documentation practices, version control systems, and markup languages.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with docs-as-code workflows such as Git, Markdown, or AsciiDoc.
• Familiarity with automated documentation quality checks like linting and rule-based validation.
• Exposure to AI-assisted writing and content review tools.
• Understanding of structured documentation models that improve searchability and discoverability.
