Associate Technical Lead - Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Lead Java development efforts within a FinTech environment, focusing on scalable and secure applications.
• Mentor and coach individual contributors to foster technical growth and team excellence.
• Design and deploy microservices architectures using Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software.
• Ensure the security and integrity of applications within highly regulated environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of professional experience in Java development.
• 3+ years of experience in mentoring or coaching technical team members.
• Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Hibernate, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with SQL/NoSQL databases and version control tools like Git.
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker).

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven experience with payment tokenization systems and Mastercard Digital Enablement Service (MDES).
• Expertise in secure credential provisioning and compliance with EMVCo and PCI DSS standards.
• Advanced proficiency with Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault, and Azure App Service.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Knowledge of big data and messaging systems like Kafka and Hadoop.
