Associate Technical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide desktop and application support to customers in on-prem and hosted environments
• Communicate with customers via ticketing systems, phone, and email to resolve software issues
• Research and analyze technical issues to ensure successful outcomes
• Identify technology solutions based on customer support needs
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure customer installs and upgrades are completed correctly
• Produce and maintain technical documentation
• Create and manage tickets using Service Desk software
• Participate in a team on-call rotation for 24/7/365 technical support
• Travel to customer sites, including correctional facilities, as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 1-2+ years of experience in a related IT role
• 1-2+ years of experience with SQL
• Experience with Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, and Microsoft Office
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with other programming languages
• Certifications such as A+, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, CNE, or CCNA
