Associate Technical Director - Electrical

Responsibilities

• Define and implement technical strategies for building services aligned with organizational goals
• Manage end-to-end technical delivery of building services projects, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget adherence
• Drive adoption of cutting-edge technologies and sustainable practices in electrical and other building systems
• Ensure all designs and installations meet regulatory codes, safety standards, and environmental guidelines
• Mentor and lead technical teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver integrated solutions
• Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project lifecycles

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 15 years of experience in building services engineering
• At least 5 years of experience in leading major project delivery
• Chartered Engineering Status with the UK Engineering Council
• Proficiency in electrical design software including Dialux, Dialux EVO, Amtech, and Hevacomp
• Strong knowledge of Data Centre projects, including power systems, redundancy design, and Tier systems
• Expertise in critical IT infrastructure and system integration

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of BS, HTM, NBC, NFPA, and other local or UK codes
