Responsibilities

• Act as a language model using Spanish, Vietnamese, or Mandarin as assigned
• Develop and implement lesson plans for indoor and outdoor environments
• Prepare learning environments, materials, and supplies
• Perform primary caregiving responsibilities and ensure child health and safety
• Maintain regular communication with parents through conferences and chats
• Supervise Teacher Aides, Substitute Teachers, and Volunteers
• Provide personalized special services to children with special needs
• Assist in the completion of the Desired Results process

Requirements

• Minimum Associate Teacher Permit or higher credential
• Bi-literate in Spanish (required)
• Proficiency in Mandarin or Vietnamese (preferred)
• CPR/First Aid Training Certification
• 16 hours of health and safety training
• Ability to pass health screening, TB test, and background fingerprint clearance
• Must be 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 year of prior experience working with young children
