Associate Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Engage with IT leadership and architects to understand business priorities and workload requirements.
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and solution narratives to business and executive audiences.
• Design end-to-end architectures leveraging Dell’s portfolio, including AI, servers, storage, and multi-cloud offerings.
• Partner with Account Executives to build winning strategies for key pursuits and competitive take-outs.
• Lead RFP/RFI/RFQ responses, including solution design, technical sizing, and architecture descriptions.
• Act as a subject matter expert in core infrastructure and specialty areas such as data protection or AI/analytics.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in Presales, Systems Engineering, or Solutions Architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Deep knowledge of enterprise servers, storage, and networking concepts.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization and private cloud platforms.
• Experience working within a matrixed, multinational organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., VMware, Microsoft, Red Hat, AWS/Azure/GCP, Cisco, or Dell Technologies).
• Understanding of hybrid and multicloud architectures and migration strategies.
