Associate Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Contribute to mission assessment, architecture, requirements, Model-based Systems Engineering (MBSE), integration, and test.
• Define and evolve system architecture and maintain requirements and architecture artifacts.
• Run architecture and requirements trade studies to improve mission performance and technical feasibility.
• Plan and execute integration and checkout work, including defining tasks and monitoring completion.
• Drive integration and test (I&T) strategies, including processes, tools, and metrics.
• Build and maintain analysis tools and modeling/simulation to predict performance against evolving threats.
• Perform system and performance trade studies to inform technical decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
• 2 or more years of related engineering experience.
• Prior experience in systems engineering (e.g., Systems, Design, Architecture, Integration, Requirements, or Test).
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MBSE or requirements tools such as Cameo or DOORS.
• Familiarity with missile-defense mission context, command and control, or battle management.
• Experience driving integration and test (I&T) processes and evaluating results against requirements.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming for test and tool support (e.g., Python, MATLAB, or Java).
• Experience performing system performance analysis or trade studies.
