About the role
Responsibilities
- Apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure optimal coordination across the supply chain
- Incorporate Bills of Material (BOM) and schedules into production plans
- Coordinate with customer support, engineering, quality assurance, warehousing, and suppliers
- Verify that released engineering BOMs are correctly implemented in the material planning system
- Document and resolve order delinquencies and report schedule adherence issues
- Analyze and disposition excess and obsolete inventories
- Create schedules for products and services and support process improvements
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience supporting Operations, Materials Management, and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
- 1+ year of experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), including Compass Contract or similar systems
- 1+ year of experience supporting both internal and external customers across multiple disciplines
- 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- U.S. Person status required (U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in Production Control and Material Management processes
- Experience with data analytics and/or process analysis and associated tools
