Associate Stylist

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of the NYC Test Salon by preparing stations, tools, and products for test activities
• Assist Stylists in documenting client hair attributes, including natural color, tonality, and damage levels
• Manage client coordination, including welcoming guests, conducting initial intake, and managing client flow
• Maintain organized and sanitized testing stations and record materials used, such as product batches and tools
• Perform basic data entry into templates and assist with administrative tasks like scheduling and client reminders
• Participate in internal training to develop technical competency and prepare for future Stylist roles

Requirements

• Valid NY State Cosmetology License
• Experience in a salon environment or beauty-related role (color, care, cutting, or styling)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as part of daily tasks
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of technical experience in a salon or beauty setting
