Associate Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments for the development of construction documents, including drawings, specifications, and estimates
• Assist with geometric design of highways and roads, including horizontal/vertical geometry, cross sections, and grading plans
• Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to implement project designs
• Develop and implement QA procedures to ensure quality control throughout assigned projects
• Provide technical guidance and input to CAD Designers, Drafters, and other engineers on the project team

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
• Proficiency in CAD and other engineering-related PC software packages
• Basic process engineering knowledge
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interacting with engineers and clients

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer In Training (EIT) Certificate
• Previous related work experience or engineering internships
