Associate, Strategic Finance

Responsibilities

• Craft data-driven recommendations for senior executives to influence pricing, growth, and bottom-line decisions
• Support the development of models and tooling for business insights, competitive intelligence, and scenario modeling
• Collaborate with Actuarial, Regional Leaders, Plan Design, and Sales teams to develop portfolio strategies
• Identify and research profitability tradeoffs, market trends, and membership insights to guide strategic decisions
• Source, organize, and analyze data to support all strategic programs within the team
• Monitor key metrics and ACA landscape trends to inform leadership tactics during selling seasons
• Report intra-year membership analytics to provide visibility into the health of the business

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial science, or equivalent work experience
• 4+ years of finance experience in Healthcare, Consulting, Insurance, or Financial Services
• 2+ years of experience working directly with C-level executives
• 2+ years of experience using Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance or MS in Financial Analysis
• Direct experience in managed care, healthcare, or insurance industries
• Proficiency in SQL/BigQuery for large dataset analysis
• Proficiency working with NetSuite and Adaptive
