About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement efficient processes for the placement and tracking of temporary associates.
- Manage sourced candidates, submissions, and interview scheduling for temporary roles.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with vendor partners and University HR departments.
- Collaborate with vendor partners to prioritize local community candidate placements.
- Address timekeeping and invoicing issues to ensure accurate records and compliance.
- Leverage technology to streamline staffing workflows and provide real-time reporting to hiring managers.
- Train vendor partners and hiring managers on various technology tools.
- Participate in internal projects and data management initiatives within the Columbia Employment Information Center.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience in staffing, HR, or administrative support.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (including vlookups and pivot tables).
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft 360.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of lawful employment practices, including interviewing and selection standards.
