Associate Staff Layout Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform layout of analog integrated circuits using commercial bulk CMOS and SOI technologies
• Execute block level, macro level, and top level floor planning, assembly, and verification
• Work closely with design engineers to provide high-quality layout in a timely manner
• Communicate regular status updates and collaborate with domestic and international design teams
• Recognize common analog structures and utilize best analog layout practices
• Create technical documentation, "how-to" guides, and presentations for engineering peers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in integrated circuit layout
• Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Layout XL, and SKILLCAD
• Strong knowledge of Calibre verification tools and Unix environments
• Deep understanding of Latchup prevention and ESD protection schemes
• Knowledge of layout dependent effects regarding device and process matching techniques

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with P&R (Place and Route) methods
• Experience working across multiple semiconductor processes
