Associate Staff DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Provision, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
• Drive best practices for DevOps processes, including continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code (IaC).
• Manage and optimize source code repositories and branching strategies using GitHub and Azure Repos.
• Implement and maintain IaC using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Configure mobile backend and API platforms, including APIM policies, JWT validation, and Service Bus authentication.
• Manage Firebase projects and push notification infrastructure for iOS and Android platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security standards and implement DevSecOps practices across all pipelines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud platform services (AKS, PostgreSQL, Service Bus, APIM).
• Proven expertise in build and release automation using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with source code management systems like GitHub and Azure Repos.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing infrastructure automation using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security integration in CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working in microservices and cloud-native architectures.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
• Relevant Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, or AZ-305) or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).
