Responsibilities
- Sell wine to clients via telephone, email, in-person and in-store
- Meet and exceed assigned sales goals to contribute to the business plan
- Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Represent Sotheby’s Wine during select networking and tasting events
- Participate in the development of marketing content including tailored offers and tasting notes
- Support the retail team by working on the sales floor
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Experience in fine wine retail in New York or in the US
- Proven track record of selling to discerning luxury clientele
- Experience in developing and nurturing client relationships
- Superior client service, listening, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of SAP
- Ability to lift approximately 40lbs
- Flexibility to work nights and weekends on a rotational basis
