Associate Spacecraft Operations Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

• Ensure the integrity of ground systems and command paths to support spacecraft missions
• Develop operational plans and analyze data using MS-Windows or UNIX based computers
• Coordinate with management and peers to maintain high-quality operational products, including procedures, tools, and system configurations
• Analyze technical data and verify system configurations in accordance with operational requirements
• Monitor system performance and execute commands to achieve mission objectives
• Support future system testing and integration requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field
• Active TS/SCI with polygraph
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to successfully complete a specialized certification program involving self-study and on-the-job training

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with coding or scripting in languages such as MATLAB or Perl
• Prior experience working with space vehicles
