Associate Software Test & Verification Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the design, development, and completion of software test and verification to ensure quality and reliability
• Partner with stakeholders to review software requirements, test objectives, and test strategies
• Design test plans, cases, and scenarios to meet software specifications
• Configure test environments, including hardware, software, and network setups to replicate production environments
• Execute test cases to verify functionality, performance, and safety, while identifying and reporting defects
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to improve testing efficiency
• Document and maintain test artifacts, metrics, and data in accordance with security protocols

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline or 4+ years of equivalent related experience
• 2+ years of experience designing and developing software test plans, cases, and procedures
• 2+ years of experience executing software test procedures and cases
• Ability to obtain a Final Post Start Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in software development using languages such as C, C++, Java, or Ada
• Proficiency with collaboration tools including GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence
• Knowledge of verification, validation, and certification processes (e.g., DO-178B/C)
• Understanding of the full software development life cycle and requirement traceability
