Associate Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality features and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot
• Contribute to platform reliability by enhancing monitoring, logging, and observability
• Implement secure coding practices to safeguard data exchange and maintain cloud infrastructure compliance
• Collaborate within an agile team alongside QA, Product, and senior engineers to deliver software sprints
• Explore and apply emerging technologies, including cloud-native optimizations and AI/ML concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience, ideally in a product-driven environment
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns
• Proficiency in SQL and relational database management (e.g., PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• Practical exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD deployment pipelines
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests and participating in code reviews
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Docker or Kubernetes/EKS
• Familiarity with standard networking or file transfer protocols such as SFTP, HTTP, or AS2
