Associate, Software Engineer, Applications

Responsibilities

• Analyze the investment management lifecycle, including portfolio management, trading, compliance, and reporting platforms to design optimal solutions.
• Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application design, system development, testing, and implementation.
• Create detailed technical design documents describing planned solutions and upstream/downstream dependencies.
• Provide production support and leverage in-house core technologies to scale software solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 36 months of experience in a computer-related occupation.
• Proficiency in web development technologies including JSP, JavaScript, and Angular.
• Strong experience with Java, Multithreading, and Object-Oriented programming.
• Experience with SQL databases (specifically DB2) and writing SQL queries.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Azure CI/CD tools, and JUnit.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies and sprints.
• Proficiency using Linux environments.
• Understanding of finance fundamentals, such as the lifecycle of an ETF order.
