About the role
Responsibilities
- Analyze the investment management lifecycle, including portfolio management, trading, compliance, and reporting platforms to design optimal solutions.
- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, application design, system development, testing, and implementation.
- Create detailed technical design documents describing planned solutions and upstream/downstream dependencies.
- Provide production support and leverage in-house core technologies to scale software solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 36 months of experience in a computer-related occupation.
- Proficiency in web development technologies including JSP, JavaScript, and Angular.
- Strong experience with Java, Multithreading, and Object-Oriented programming.
- Experience with SQL databases (specifically DB2) and writing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Azure CI/CD tools, and JUnit.
- Experience working within Agile methodologies and sprints.
- Proficiency using Linux environments.
- Understanding of finance fundamentals, such as the lifecycle of an ETF order.
