About the role

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of Condé Nast Traveler US social platforms, guiding strategy, execution, and day-to-day optimizations to increase traffic and engagement.
  • Collaborate with editors, video, PR, and designers to develop content packages and rollout strategies optimized for social media.
  • Partner with audience development to improve how social media drives traffic and loyalty through testing and brainstorming.
  • Work with data analysts to report on regular progress, learnings, and KPI pacing to adjust social strategy.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with internal and external content partners, managing day-to-day partnerships and cross-posting.
  • Work with sales, marketing, and commerce teams on sponsorship opportunities and new activations.

Requirements

  • Experienced social media professional with a proven track record.
  • Professional experience creating and optimizing content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and other emerging platforms.
  • Proficiency with social publishing and listening tools such as SocialFlow, Dash Hudson, Parsely, Google Analytics, or CrowdTangle.
  • Strong editorial judgment and excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage senior stakeholders across different business functions.
  • Ability to spot consumer trends and behaviors through social listening and build campaigns using social data.
  • Must be able to complete a social edit test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using creative editing tools such as InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, or Canva.
  • A general knowledge of and passion for travel.
