Associate - SOC

Responsibilities

• Perform SOC audits, ITGC support, HITRUST certifications, and ISO assessments
• Evaluate client platform structures, security, software, and control environments
• Exercise professional skepticism when assessing audit evidence
• Identify potential points for improvement within assigned fieldwork areas
• Apply specialized knowledge regarding SOC Trust Services Criteria and the AICPA code of ethics
• Utilize knowledge of Windows/UNIX, SQL, cloud environments, and security best practices to support engagements

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 1 year of Public Accounting experience
• Exposure to SOC, HITRUST, or ISO engagements
• Ability to identify internal control deficiencies and document management letter comments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat Engagement
• Demonstrated knowledge of or interest in information technology

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or CISA certification (achieved or in progress)
• Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Knowledge of Windows/UNIX-based operating systems and SQL databases
