Associate Senior Product Owner - Platform Engineering

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design, development, and operations of the Internal Developer Platform (IDP) to enable a developer-first engineering culture.
• Own end-to-end implementation of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure repeatable provisioning across cloud environments.
• Define and maintain "golden paths" and self-service capabilities to enable secure and efficient software delivery.
• Architect and operate scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud infrastructure on both AWS and Azure.
• Drive the adoption of the Internal Developer Portal using tools like Port.io.
• Partner with AI platform teams to automate the provisioning and lifecycle management of infrastructure such as Databricks and AWS Bedrock.
• Provide technical mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers and coordinate technical work assignments.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, or a Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.
• Expert proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) within production environments.
• Hands-on experience operating cloud services in AWS and Azure.
• Proven experience building or operating an Internal Developer Platform (IDP) using Port.io, Backstage, or equivalent tooling.
• Strong software development background with experience writing and shipping production code.
• Familiarity with AI infrastructure platforms, specifically Databricks or AWS Bedrock.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or HashiCorp Terraform Associate).
• Experience working in large, security-conscious enterprise environments or international organizations.
• Familiarity with developer experience (DevEx) measurement frameworks and platform engineering metrics.
• Contributions to open-source projects related to IaC or platform engineering.
