Associate/Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Ideate, research, and refine novel venture hypotheses to build new biotechnology companies
• Validate key underlying unknowns of biology or technology through experimental plans
• Identify and build relationships with academic Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to de-risk concepts
• Formulate initial IP strategies and assess the patentability of existing landscapes
• Develop corporate strategies, including value creation, organizational charts, and operational plans
• Create audience-specific pitches to communicate scientific opportunities effectively
• Manage early-stage scientific teams, recruitment, and relationships with CROs
• Support business development activities and transition foundational science to active company teams

Requirements

• STEM-based PhD or MD from a top university
• 2+ years of experience in life sciences biotech, startups, or entrepreneurial activities
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information rapidly
• Understanding of multiple therapeutic modalities (e.g., small molecule, ADC, protein therapeutics)
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of urgency and ability to work in fast-paced environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in company origination or venture creation
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage scientific or operational teams
• Experience navigating the IP landscape and writing seminal technology applications
