Associate Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Monitor multiple security technologies including SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, Switches, and VPNs to detect IT security incidents.
• Correlate and analyze events using SIEM tools such as Splunk, Log Rhythm, or Qradar.
• Follow operational procedures to analyze, escalate, and assist in the remediation of critical security incidents.
• Conduct log file analysis, including forensic analysis of system resource access.
• Respond to inbound technical assistance requests and support cases within documented SLAs.
• Document all actions in cases to ensure effective communication with internal teams and customers.
• Maintain awareness of the current threat landscape and participate in knowledge sharing.
• Work rotating shifts within a 24/7 operating environment.

Requirements

• Emirati national with a family book.
• 2-3 years of experience in information security (e.g., security operations, incident analysis, or firewall administration).
• 2-3 years of experience in network operations, engineering, or system administration (Unix, Linux, or Windows).
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools such as Splunk, Log Rhythm, or Qradar.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, networking, and security product experience.
• Understanding of Cyber Kill Chain and MITRE ATT&CK frameworks.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, GCA, GCIA, GCIH, or CEH.
• Experience with Alien Vault, NitroSecurity, or similar security platforms.
