Associate SDET Specialist

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of software and product testing within the data and analytics department.
• Design, develop, and document application test strategies, test plans, and test cases based on technical specifications.
• Execute test cases and scenarios, report results, and troubleshoot defects.
• Collaborate with product management to triage defects and conduct product beta testing.
• Work closely with application development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to drive automation.
• Identify faults in complex ETL data processing and review QA reports.
• Introduce and enhance non-functional testing capabilities, including security and performance testing.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in software testing or SDET roles.
• Technical degree in Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to write and interpret complex queries.
• Extensive experience in ETL/DW backend testing and BI Intelligence Report testing.
• Proficiency in Python or Java.
• Experience with Cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, ALM, or Rally.
• Knowledge of frontend automation using Selenium or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced scripting skills in Python and expertise in UNIX Shell scripting.
• Experience with scheduling tools like Cloud Composer (Airflow) or CTM.
• Understanding of the payment domain.
• Knowledge of non-functional testing, including performance and load testing.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML technologies.
