Associate Scientist, QC

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses of organic, inorganic compounds, or biologics
• Verify the identity, purity, and homogeneity of compounds during development processes
• Prepare and review technical documents, including analytical test methods, SOPs, and investigation reports
• Independently analyze experimental data and provide conclusions
• Perform experiments for analytical method development, qualification, validation, and characterization
• Maintain appropriate safety practices and complete all required Good Laboratory Practice training

Requirements

• BA/BS degree in a relevant scientific field
• Experience in Quality Systems within a Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) environment
• Proficiency with laboratory data systems
• Hands-on experience or working knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry, specifically with analytical instruments
• Understanding of the drug development process for biological therapeutics
• Strong documentation skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on analytical experience with biological therapeutics
• Proficiency in operating analytical and physical techniques for pharmaceutical characterization
• Experience with advanced analytical techniques and regulatory guidelines
• Experience using generative AI tools to support problem solving and productivity
