Associate Scientist - Protein Expression Science

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory animal handling (mice), including splenectomy, lymphadenectomy, and post-mortem bleed collection
• Prepare single cell suspensions from mouse spleen, lymph nodes, and bone marrow
• Execute immunofluorescence cell staining and immunofluorescence beads-based binding affinity assays
• Isolate target cells through fluorescence activated cell sorting (FACS)
• Analyze flow cytometry data using tools such as FlowJo, Omiq, and GraphPad Prism
• Document experimental procedures and results in electronic notebooks, LIMS, and databases
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to maintain the antibody discovery pipeline
• Manage lab preparation, organization, and resource acquisition

Requirements

• B.S. in Molecular Biology, Cellular Biology, or a related field
• 2+ years of laboratory experience
• Experience with laboratory animal handling (mice)
• Proficiency in immunofluorescence techniques
• Foundational knowledge of immunology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with flow cytometry
• Proficiency in data analysis software including FlowJo and GraphPad Prism
• Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative biotechnology environment
