Associate Scientist - Protein Expression Science

Responsibilities

• Perform high throughput molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, DNA isolation, and Next Generation sequencing
• Operate and troubleshoot automated protocols on liquid handling systems, such as Hamilton Robotics
• Execute seeding and transfection of CHO transient cell lines on automated platforms
• Support antibody screening campaigns through high throughput cloning, expression, and transfer of antibodies to assay plates
• Maintain accurate data recording in Electronic Lab Notebooks (ELN) and LIMS

Requirements

• BS/MS in a scientific field
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, DNA isolation)
• Experience with cell biology techniques
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with automated liquid handlers
• Laboratory skills in cell line development
• Experience with Next Generation sequencing
