Associate Scientist, Production

Responsibilities

• Manufacture electrocompetent and chemically competent cells for various product lines
• Perform quality control on completed competent cell batches according to designated procedures
• Process, record, and analyze data following approved protocols and good documentation practices
• Support process improvements, investigations, and corrective/preventative actions
• Collaborate with team members to meet production plans and customer requirements
• Adhere to ISO 13485 quality management systems and company PPE policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• 2+ years of experience in a laboratory setting working with biological materials and equipment
• Proficiency operating standard laboratory equipment including pH meters, conductivity meters, and pipettes
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant life sciences field (e.g., Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry)
• Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques and cell cultures
• Demonstrated proficiency with aseptic technique
• Experience working within an ISO-certified quality environment (Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Device)
