Associate Scientist

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental compliance and hazardous material assessments
• Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation for environmental assessments, permits, and compliance measures
• Support small-scale project management including monitoring timelines, budgets, and scope
• Communicate complex environmental findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Participate in overnight and out-of-state travel for site visits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Environmental Resources, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in environmental consulting or related scientific fieldwork
• Valid driver’s license
• Willingness to travel for fieldwork and work non-traditional schedules
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
