About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain, expand, and modulate cells in vitro
- Generate engineered muscle tissue from primary or iPSC-derived progenitor cells
- Optimize cellular assays and develop readouts for muscle function
- Handle and care for mice, including performing blood and tissue sample collection
- Process tissue samples for molecular and histological assessments
- Analyze data using biological and statistical software such as ImageJ, Flowjo, Excel, and Prism
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization
Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in a relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience in muscle biology or a related discipline
- Experience in tissue culture and cell-based assays
- Experience with flow cytometry and histology (e.g., IHC, IF)
- Experience in mouse handling
- Proficiency in biological data collection and analysis
