Associate Scientist, Obesity, Muscle and Metabolism

Responsibilities

• Maintain, expand, and modulate cells in vitro
• Generate engineered muscle tissue from primary or iPSC-derived progenitor cells
• Optimize cellular assays and develop readouts for muscle function
• Handle and care for mice, including performing blood and tissue sample collection
• Process tissue samples for molecular and histological assessments
• Analyze data using biological and statistical software such as ImageJ, Flowjo, Excel, and Prism
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the organization

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in a relevant field
• 1-2 years of experience in muscle biology or a related discipline
• Experience in tissue culture and cell-based assays
• Experience with flow cytometry and histology (e.g., IHC, IF)
• Experience in mouse handling
• Proficiency in biological data collection and analysis
