About the role
Responsibilities
- Carry out hands-on in vivo work in mice, including handling, tumor inoculation, measurement, and dosing (oral, SC, IP, and IV)
- Perform necropsies and support ex vivo tissue activities, including dissection, processing, and sample preparation
- Conduct in vitro work including multiparametric flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques associated with in vivo studies
- Maintain accurate study records and present results to cross-departmental teams
- Participate in dosing rotations, which may include occasional evening or weekend work
Requirements
- Master's degree with 2+ years of in vivo rodent experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of in vivo rodent experience, OR
- High school diploma/GED with 6 years of in vivo rodent experience
- Proficiency in mouse handling, dosing, and tissue collection
- Experience with flow cytometry and molecular biology techniques
- Proficiency with GraphPad Prism and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- M.S. degree in Oncology, Biology, or a related discipline
- Hands-on experience with in vivo models of cancer and pharmacology
- Experience with PDX models of cancer and in vivo bioluminescence imaging (BLI)
- Strong organizational and communication skills for timely data analysis and record keeping
