Associate Scientist, Immunology

Responsibilities

• Independently design and execute in vitro assays to evaluate immune cell function, including multi-color flow cytometry and cytotoxicity assays
• Conduct ex vivo analysis of immune cells through tissue processing and downstream assays
• Develop, execute, and troubleshoot experimental protocols under the guidance of senior team members
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic laboratory notebook records
• Analyze and communicate experimental data during team meetings

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in biology, immunology, bioengineering, or a related discipline
• 6+ years of relevant industry experience in immunology and/or immunotherapy
• Strong experimental skills in tissue culture and primary immune cell culture
• Proficiency in flow cytometry, immunoassay development, and ex vivo mouse model or NHP sample processing
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with non-viral delivery technologies and nucleic acid modalities
• Experience working with primary human and/or NHP T cells
